• My car had a warning light come on, called the AA out and they advised i don't drive it snd book it in with a garage. They said they have AA approved garages snd booked it in with Frettenham Service Station. They sorted out my issue, but identified a couple of advisories, namely a siezed alternator free wheel pulley snd belt that was breaking up. So I booked my car in for this to be done. However, a week prior to it being done, while driving I heard a flapping sound from my engine, but no warning lights appeared on my dashboard. Fearing that the belt had snapped, I rang Frettenham Services who said if the belt had snapped, a red battery warning light would appear, but as I was fairly close, offered for me to bring the car in immediately to check it out. It transpired that the belt had not fully snapped, hence no warning light, but was close to snapping, so they said I could leave the car with them and they would do it over the next day or two in between their already booked in jobs. I got a call the following lunchtime to say my car was ready for collection. Phenomenal Service. I can't praise or recommend them highly enough. Really nice guys too!!

• Just got my MOT done (£40). Friendly staff, free hot drink, TV in waiting area, clean unisex loo. Hybrid and electric cars serviced. Free courtesy cars available to book with a service with at least a month’s notice. I’ve just found my new regular garage.
